Quarter, Half or Full Day Coaching available

Our job-embedded professional development model is designed to provide sustained, practical, and classroom-centered support for schools, with a specialized focus on lower elementary grade levels (PreK–3). This approach ensures that professional learning is directly connected to daily instruction, student needs, and school-wide goals.

Each engagement begins with a virtual pre-conference via Zoom with the principal and/or curriculum personnel to identify specific instructional priorities, areas of need, and desired outcomes. This collaborative planning session ensures that coaching is aligned to school initiatives, curriculum expectations, and student achievement data.

On-site coaching can include:

  • Classroom observations to assess instructional practices and student engagement while offering practical, high-impact strategies to enhance teaching and learning

  • Demonstration lessons that model research-based strategies in real time

  • Side-by-side coaching to support teachers during live instruction

  • One-on-one or small group curriculum overviews to deepen understanding of standards, pacing, instructional resources, and best practices for lower elementary learners

All coaching sessions include:

  • Detailed feedback documents highlighting strengths and growth areas

  • Resource links and strategies for continued professional learning

  • Clear, actionable next steps to support ongoing instructional improvement

Professional Development Workshops

60 or 90 minute Professional Development Workshop

Our workshops are designed to deliver focused, practical, and engaging professional learning experiences tailored to the unique needs of each school. Sessions are customized to address identified instructional needs and provide practical strategies teachers can apply right away.

Each workshop engagement includes a structured three-phase process to ensure alignment and impact:

  • Pre-Conference (via Zoom): A collaborative planning meeting with the principal and/or curriculum personnel to identify school goals, determine specific areas of focus, and clarify desired outcomes for the session.

  • Interactive Workshop Presentation: A highly engaging 60 to 90 minute professional learning experience designed to provide applicable strategies, demonstration of practices, and opportunities for active participation.

  • Post-Conference (via Zoom): A follow-up meeting with the principal and/or curriculum personnel to review feedback, discuss implementation progress, and identify next steps to sustain and extend the learning.

The Playful Classroom: Building Skills Through Joyful Learning

The Playful Classroom is an engaging professional development experience designed to help lower elementary educators intentionally integrate play into standards-based instruction. Participants will explore the difference between purposeful play—teacher-designed experiences with clear learning goals—and free play—child-directed exploration that builds creativity, executive function, and social-emotional skills. Educators will learn how both types of play work together to support academic growth and whole-child development.

The session provides practical strategies for transforming simple classroom supplies into powerful learning tools, designing and managing play centers, integrating literacy, math, and content areas, and embedding assessment into playful experiences. Teachers will also learn how to effectively support high-quality free play through thoughtful environment design and responsive facilitation.

By the end of the session, educators will be equipped to create joyful, skill-building classrooms where engagement and rigor thrive together.

Nurturing Learners: Creating a Child- Centered Classroom invites educators to create classrooms where children feel seen, valued, and empowered to take an active role in their learning. Participants will explore strategies for designing learning environments that honor each child’s curiosity, choice, and individuality.

Participants will explore how to foster meaningful relationships, encourage student voice and choice, design flexible and engaging learning spaces, and integrate playful, hands-on activities that support both academic and social-emotional growth.

By the end of the session, teachers will be inspired and equipped to cultivate a classroom where every child can thrive and take ownership of their learning.

Real-World Learning: The PBL Approach introduces educators to the principles and practices of Project Based Learning (PBL); a dynamic instructional approach that engages students in meaningful, real-world problem solving. In this professional development course, teachers will explore how to design and implement authentic learning experiences that encourage critical thinking, collaboration, creativity, and student voice.

Participants will learn the core elements of effective PBL, including crafting driving questions, designing standards-aligned projects, facilitating inquiry, and assessing student learning through authentic products and presentations. Through practical strategies and classroom-ready tools, educators will discover how PBL can increase student engagement, deepen understanding, and connect academic content to real-world applications.

By the end of the session, teachers will be equipped to plan and implement a project-based unit that empowers students to investigate complex questions, apply their knowledge in meaningful ways, and take ownership of their learning.
